Equinox Global Missions was born in 2014 in the slums of India when Jeremy Davis and Clay Johnson traveled to Chennai to help the Arise Shine Mission, an organization that Clay had been associated with since 2009. It was there in the daily work of serving the sick and the poor in orphanages and villages where the seed was planted that would eventually become Equinox Global Missions.
Now, Jeremy and Clay have an opportunity to return to India where it all began, but this time with all the resources of the EGM network to bless the people of that corner of the world. In January, they will travel over with a small team to accomplish three primary objectives:
1. Conduct a leadership training seminar in Chennai for preachers and elders from over 80 village churches scattered throughout India.
2. Deliver music presentations and educational programming at two universities in Chennai
3. Bless the orphans and widows in villages around Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with food distribution and musical performances.
Through a partnership with long-time friend and colleague Roy Knight, a native-born Indian missionary, these goals will be met and surpassed as we have witnessed over the years. The diligent and passionate efforts of the Arise Shine Mission have worked to bring about substantial and sustainable change for good for more than twenty years.
We humbly ask you to consider making a charitable contribution to help underwrite this cause. All of the funds donated toward this mission trip will go toward the costs of the seminars and outreach programs, meals for the workers and the children, and travel expenses for the team. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support.
