There’s something magical that happens when students experience live music together. 🎶
Concerts don’t just bring joy and excitement—they open doors to new ideas, inspire creativity, and spark curiosity that carries back into the classroom. Studies show that music experiences help strengthen memory, build confidence, and even improve focus. But beyond the research, it’s the smiles, the wide eyes, and the sense of belonging that tell the real story.
When young people are given the chance to connect with music, they’re reminded that learning isn’t only about textbooks and tests—it’s about discovery, expression, and hope. And that can change everything.
At Equinox Global Missions, we believe every student deserves these moments of inspiration. Together, we’re creating spaces where music uplifts, encourages, and ignites a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. 🎵

Music Matters! Last week’s Elder Care Concerts brought an epic story time from one of the residents.
(Swipe left for video)
“The piece that you all performed, the one that Frank Sinatra sang, but didn’t write…I think it was Fly Me to the Moon. (It) took me back to the time when I was 13 years old and saw Frank perform at the Paramount in New York City. I was with a group of my friends and back in those days 13-year-olds could go to concerts without an adult.”
What’s crazy is that this resident wasn’t the first person to tell us a similar story. If you’ve followed us long enough, you know that @equinoxorchestra ‘s very own Groupie Granny Jeanne was at these concerts, too!
Moral of the story? You may be cool but you’ll never be Frank Sinatra in 1942 cool! 😉

The group chat is still going.
That’s the cool thing about this “shared experience” we called #footstepsofpaul.
We’re still sharing the memories that were made and checking in on each other.

Here’s the deal. Jeremy showed up on the world’s stage 51 years ago and said, “Hello America! How’s everybody?” for the first time. A couple of little known facts about Mr. Fabulous is that he loves a good vista and is deeply ashamed of never becoming a botanist. It’s not too late to wish this jive turkey a happy birthday!

Kuşadası!
What a great surprise to see every seat filled, more chairs miraculously show up - and still have even more people standing. Thank you #Kuşadası for such a memorable night!

Another clip from our church concert in Athens, Greece. #whenweallgettoheaven #footstepswithEGM #footstepsofpaul

One of our favorite things to do is to encourage the local church wherever we go. This time it was in Athens, Greece. #goodnews #putalittleloveinyourheart #footstepswithEGM

Riot in Ephesus!
And you see and hear that not only in Ephesus but in almost all of Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away a great many people, saying that gods made with hands are not gods. And there is danger not only that this trade of ours may come into disrepute but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis may be counted as nothing, and that she may even be deposed from her magnificence, she whom all Asia and the world worship.”
When they heard this they were enraged and were crying out, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” So the city was filled with the confusion, and they rushed together into the theater, dragging with them Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians who were Paul’s companions in travel. But when Paul wished to go in among the crowd, the disciples would not let him.

You never know who you are going to run into! @equinoxorchestra had to go to Ephesus to meet @cityreadingpa mayor, Eddie Morán! #readingpennsylvania #footstepswithegm
We’re looking forward to making it to the Acropolis this morning. Mars Hill and Corinth and also on the list. We’ll finish this evening with a concert at Athens Apostolic Church of Christ.

The story of Paul in Philippi at the baptismal place of Lydia!! …and our amazing guide Dr Stavros.
We have arrived in Greece on the next leg of our #footstepsofpaul tour. Tomorrow, we’ll spend the day exploring where Paul first stepped onto the European continent. He knew it as Neopolis. We know it as Kavala. #footstepsofpaul #footstepswithegm #greece
